I’m just back from a week in Kalbarri, a little town at the mouth of the Murchison river about 600 km. north of Perth. We had a lovely relaxing break with warm sunny weather while Perth was cool and rainy. These are some of my touristy pics. The top 2 show some of the rugged coastline there.
Above & below: a section of the river gorges about 35km inland from Kalbarri. There are some spectacular rock formations, the one below is called nature’s window. I took lots of closeups too, I’ll post some later as well as some wildflower pics. The wildflowers were fantastic. Kalbarri has a large national park which is well known for the huge variety of native flora as well as the scenery.
