Its time for Roy G Biv again (initials of the colours of the rainbow) This month it’s yellow, a colour I use for mixing and sometimes over dyeing or over painting, but I rarely use yellow as a feature in my work. I did manage to find some yellow – I like yellow walls, sunshine, flowers – I even wear yellow occasionally. I found lots of yellow tools & containers in the studio & I photographed my yellow quilting fabrics. Nothing says yellow more than a sunflower.

Hi Linda- Love your still life of yellow tools! Thanks for playing this month!
What a wonderful sunflower…speaks yellow loud and clear! Happy yellow search!
Hi Linda,
I love your pictures, but would love to hear more about your “over dyeing and painting.”
Love that sunflower … hints of sun and warmth and summer. I can’t wait!
Nice yellows, and I agree about the sunflower – quintessential yellow!
Amazing what you can manage to find once you begin a concerted search! I especially love the tumble of studio tools/materials & the lovely folds of fabrics…
