Taking part in the challenge again this month, although I seem to get later each time! I don’t use a lot of grey in my work but found quite a few photos featuring grey – hope you enjoy them. For links to other participants go to Julie’s blog here & Jennifer’s blog here.
Procion dyed in grey.
The Open Studio was successful – I had lots of lovely visitors and some good sales. Thank you to everyone who visited mine and the other artist studios. Hoping it will become an annual event.
Love the grey images Linda. Some beautiful pattern and textures. Your studio looks very inviting. I am glad to hear it was a success.
Thanks Louise!
Lovely studio and some great grey images. Though from what I can see of your studio I think you prefer pinks Nd reds!
Thanks Sue – yes you’re right re the Reds!
I enjoyed looking at your grey examples, especially the sailboats and the pottery walk!
Thanks for visiting Elizabeth!
Hi Linda,
This month got away from me, too. There are only so many things one can fit in. I think your grays are grayte! I especially like the organic closeups and the pottery path images. Hope your open studio time was successful. It’s great to get a peek into another’s work space. Cheers.
Thanks Roxanne – I’m grey-tful for your comment! I love the pottery path too – really enjoyed visiting that place & have loads of photos
I like the strangler vine image – could be a great Riso screen 🙂 I really enjoyed all the open studios and one of the things I liked about yours especially was the folders of samples – very inspiring.
Thanks Liz, I did edit that photo a little with a view to making a thermofax screen – haven’t gone further with it yet. Glad you enjoyed the studio trail.
Beautiful images! And I love the picture of your studio. Looks great. Would have loved to visit!
Have a great week.
Thanks Francoise – wish you could have visited!
Sorry to have made it over here so belatedly…it was worth the wait! That pottery path is marvelous – and I was surprised to read that the next image was a manhole cover, as opposed to a detail of the path – it’s equally lovely! As was the tree…and on & on!
Glad you got here Lisa & thanks for commenting. The manhole cover was in Japan too but can’t remember where.
